2D/3D CLOTHING CONSTRUCTION COURSE PROGRAM
The course takes 1.5 years.
First year classes include:
• standard construction
• tailor techniques
• history of art and clothing
Second year classes include:
• 2D/3D construction in the second semester
• designing a diploma collection under the supervision of a selected tutor
• realization of construction templates in standard and 2D/3D technique for the entire diploma collection
• preparation of full technical documentation on diploma collection
• sewing 5 garments from diploma collection
The program of a 1.5-year course includes:
Construction of a basic skirt
– shaping a pencil skirt and an A-line skirt
– shaping a bib skirt and box pleats skirt
– shaping skirt with fantasy cuts according to the project
– shaping a full circle skirt and a half circle skirt
– grading a basic skirt according to perimeters
Construction of basic trousers
– shaping bib trousers
– shaping flared trousers
– shaping bootcut trousers
– shaping fantasy trousersy according to the project
– grading basic trousers according to perimeters
Construction of a basic blouse
– principles of moving darts at bustline
– shaping a blouse with horizontal and vertical cuts
– shaping a blouse with fantasy cuts according to the project
– shaping different types of sleeves
– construction and shaping of different types of collars
– grading a basic blouse according to perimeters
2D and 3D computer clothing design program
2D and 3D computer clothing design program is realized using Optitex software applied by the majority of companies in industrial clothing production.
Construction and shaping of a basic skirt in 2D
– shaping different types of skirts according to the project
– construction and shaping circle and half circle skirts
– grading a basic skirt according to perimeters
Construction and shaping of basic trousers in 2D
– shaping different types of trousers according to the project
– grading trousers according to perimeters
Construction and shaping a basic blouse in 2D
– shaping different types of blouses according to the project
– grading a blouse according to the project
3D design allows checking the prepared clothing templates on any 3D dummy.
The program includes:
– Preparation of skirt templates according to the project and verification of their correctness on any 3D dummy in selected size
– Creation of trouser templates according to the project and verification of their correctness on any 3D dummy in selected size
– Construction of blouse templates according to the project and verification of their correctness on any 3D dummy in selected size

The participant performs tasks together with a lecturer, then individually according to presented photos or own projects. The course takes place in spacious and bright lecture rooms of MSKPU, equipped with large, comfortable tables, tailor’s dummies, sewing machines and computers necessary to learn the Optitex software.

INDIVIDUAL COURSE ON CLOTHING CONSTRUCTION
Course is delivered by professionally active female constructors and is dedicated for beginners and professionals aiming to upgrade their qualifications.
FEE FOR THE STANDARD CONSTRUCTION COURSE (on paper templates): PLN 1700.00/21 classes
FEE FOR THE COMPUTER CONSTRUCTION COURSE 2D/3D (Optitex software): PLN 3400.00/40 classes
Program of the standard construction course (on paper templates)
Standard course includes 21 classes dedicated for construction and shaping of basic clothing elements on paper templates.
The course program includes:
Construction of a basic skirt
Shaping a pencil skirt and an A-line skirt

Each course culminates in an exam and a diploma of standard clothing construction from MSKPU.
Knowledge gained during the course allows the students to create their own clothing templates on paper forms.
MSKPU standard construction course certificate entitles you to enroll for the computer clothing construction course in 2D and 3D environment at our school.

2D and 3D construction course involves Optitex software used by the majority of clothing companies for industrial clothing production.
The offer is dedicated for both future constructors and designers aiming to develop their knowledge and qualifications.
2D and 3D construction course certificate from MSKPU:

Each course participant:
• develops spacial imagination during 2D and 3D visualization in realization of future projects.

In order to enroll for the 2D and 3D construction course we require the basic knowledge of clothing construction or MSKPU standard course certificate covering 21 classes (45 minutes each).
After finishing the standard course at our school or obtaining required knowledge, the student may enroll for the 2D and 3D clothing construction course consisitng of 40 classes (45 minutes each), and including:

The course culminates in an exam and 2D and 3D construction course diploma from MSKPU
