MSKPU 2008 – Diploma Fashion Show

On 24th September, 2008 in the beautiful interiors of Polonia Palace Hotel in Warsaw took place a glamorous gala, attended by guests from the world of fashion, media, art and clothing industry, as well as MSKPU fans.

This event was fully dedicated to MSKPU graduates, who presented their diploma collection during this magical evening. The audience rewarded every show and designer with a rousing applause. The fashion show part was followed by a banquet which lasted until late evening. Among guests were: designer Maciej Zień, famous set designer Zofia de Ines, designer Viola Spiechowicz, designer and stylist Marek Witt, stylist Adrian Grajcar, recognizable and loved soccer player Roger Guerreiro who arrived with his fiancée, and many more representatives of the clothing industry in Poland.

The event was hosted by Joanna Horodyńska – a person with a unique charisma. The gala was assited by: VH1 television, iRunway, iPortfolio portal, Fashion Magazine, Rynek Mody, Przemysł Mody, Kobiety.pl and the Young Designers Foundation YPDF. DJ Łukasz Rudnicki, who co-operates with Polish designers organizing fashion shows, provided a magical music frame. The author of extraordinary hair styles was the hair stylist and hairdresser Tomek Bożek, while makeup and gifts for the guests were funded by Rouge Bunny Rouge.

Agnieszka Kozłowska – Creation of a Woman collection

Weronika Kucharska – Candy collection

She is a finalist of the Golden Thread 2008 contest and the Gryf Fashion Award. She started her career at Atelier Maciej Zień, while designing and producing clothes for the NUANCE calendar and designing promotional clothes for the X-BOX brand.

Ursula Ray – L’art. Vivat collection

Finalist of the MUCC Look contest in Paris, semifinalist of the Oscars in Fashion contest. She has co-operated with Atelier Bizzare, designed and created costumes for the NUANCE calendar. She is an intern at the Grand Theatre.

Paulina Zatorska – costume design – costumes for the opera “The Pearl Fishers”

She works as a costume designer. She prepared costumes for the cabaret show on A. Waligórski’s creative work, for “The Warsaw Nocturne” and for the show “In Search of (not) Lost Time”.
