Agnieszka Tomaszewska is a costume designer with many years of experience, for whom designing costumes is not only a profession, but above all a passion. She began her artistic journey very early, but it was the world of costumes that became her true element.
Since 2006, she has been working professionally as a costume designer – not only in the entertainment industry. She has designed and co-created costumes for theatre and opera productions, fashion shows, music videos, and photo shoots. From the very beginning of her career, she has been actively developing in various positions within the costume department, specialising, among other things, in ageing and patination techniques. She has worked on both high-budget productions and intimate independent films and music videos.
She says about her work: “It’s not a job, it’s a pleasure.” This motto perfectly reflects her approach – the key to success is doing what you love. Agnieszka believes that passion translates into quality – it provides motivation to achieve exceptional results and to share one’s talents with others.
For her, professional work is also a space for continuous development – expanding skills, gaining knowledge, and taking on new challenges. Every success, even the smallest one, is a source of joy and inner strength. In such moments, as she says, “work gives you wings.”
Her education has equipped her with a deep understanding of the nuances of character design for stage and screen. Agnieszka moves freely in her work with colour, light, and fabric structure, skillfully combining craftsmanship with artistic vision. Her passion, knowledge, and openness to growth make her constantly seek new forms of expression in her creative work.
